Seven out of ten people in Indonesia are a sandwich generation. Not a few of the generations of sandwiches are stressed by the hook that they're choking. The burden felt by this sandwich generation attracted researchers to study this phenomenon further from a Shariah perspective, given that the majority of Indonesians are Muslim. The research this time examines the phenomenon of the sandwich generation reviewed through the Shariah, with the aim that the wider community especially the Muslims can understand and see this according to the directions of the shariah. This research includes a type of library research, a study where the object of the study uses library data in the form of books as a source of data. This research was done by reading, scrutinizing, and analyzing various literature, such as the Qur’an, Hadiths, books of scholars, as well as the results of previous research related to the topic of this time. The researchers concluded that the Islamic Shariah viewed the phenomenon of the sandwich generation as a right and duty of a person to be fulfilled. A Muslim who experiences this phenomenon should change their mindset so that the responsibility they take is not a burden on them.
