Abstract

This research aims to explore and deeply analyze the concept of child education from the perspectives of classical Islamic scholars such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Khaldun. By examining their works, this study seeks to uncover holistic and character-based principles of child education and how these principles can be implemented in modern educational contexts. The research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. The findings reveal that the concept of child education from the perspective of classical Islamic scholars encompasses comprehensive principles, including early character and moral development, a holistic approach to nurturing children's potential, teaching methods tailored to children's developmental stages, and the role of parents and the environment in supporting education. Furthermore, the study highlights the relevance and adaptation of these classical educational concepts in modern times. This research provides valuable insights into the Islamic intellectual heritage in child education and how these concepts can be adapted to enhance the quality of child education today.
