This study aims to explore the utilization of images generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in language learning and their application in developing formative assessments for Arabic speaking skills. The research findings indicate that the integration of artificial intelligence technology in education brings about fundamental changes, yet also faces ethical and social challenges. Educators can use prompts in various languages to generate images using Bing AI, emphasizing the importance of creativity and precision in formulating requests. Formative assessment plays a crucial role in Arabic language learning, particularly in speaking skills, by enabling the monitoring of student progress and providing objective feedback through the use of visual representations. The development of appropriate evaluation instruments is key to enhancing the quality of learning. Further research is needed to integrate artificial intelligence into education, especially in the development of assessment tools using AI technology. Additionally, it is important to investigate the social and ethical impacts and enhance teachers' understanding for effective utilization.
