Abstract

This research falls under the category of library research and use the description-analysis approach for data analysis. Waqf is modal of muslim's has the potential to increase their advantages provided it is established and maintained properly. Waqf works as a factor of production for economic growth that is intended for Muslims' wellbeing. Proof that the government is seriously pursuing waqf as a legal framework for developing waqf in the future in order to improve the welfare of the community at large is provided by the adoption of Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf and Government Regulation Number 42 of 2006 regarding its Implementation. They will be in charge of the growth wheel with these millennials, notably in the economic sector, which is anticipated to be able to guide the Indonesian nation towards a more advanced and dynamic development. The potential of cash waqf for the millennial generation with more than 25% of the total population of Indonesia is considered very large in Indonesia, the millennial generation is also included in the productive age where they already hold money and can manage their own finances. Indonesia itself is also a generous country, where people will help or donate money to charitable organizations or to people in need. But for waqf literacy in Indonesia is still relatively low, this requires waqf agencies to socialize waqf literacy through the digitalization era on social media.
