Biodiversitas Stomata pada Tumbuhan di Lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah Al-Irtiqo’ Malang

This study aims to identify stomatal biodiversity across various plant species within the environment of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Irtiqo’ Malang. Employing a qualitative approach, the study utilized five leaf samples from different plant species: Adam Hawa (Rhoeo discolor), Walisongo (Schefflera actinophyllum), Daun Ungu (Graptophyllum pictum), Daun Dolar (Ficus pumila), and Lili Perdamaian (Spathiphyllum). Data were collected through microscopic observation, sample comparison, and documentation, corroborated by prior research findings. The results reveal distinct stomatal types across the plant species observed. These differences are marked by variations in stomatal size, density, and morphology, largely influenced by genetic factors and leaf morphology specific to each species. Additionally, environmental factors such as light, humidity, and temperature significantly affect stomatal structure and function, enabling plants to adapt to their growth environments. The study concludes that each species possesses a unique stomatal type, resulting from a combination of genetic factors and environmental adaptations. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of stomatal morphological diversity and its implications for plant ecology and physiology within specific environments.
