Developing Values of Empathy and Attitude of Appreciation Through Drama Art Performances at RA Perwanida Sukoharjo

This community service seeks to instill the seeds of empathy and mutual respect in early childhood at RA Perwanida Sukoharjo through meaningful drama performances. By using the Participatory, Action, and Reflective (PAR) method. In the participatory stage, children are involved in the planning and implementation process of the drama performance, so that they can understand and internalize the values of empathy and mutual respect. In the action stage, children take real action in showing empathy and respecting others. In the reflection stage, children reflect on their experiences and understand the impact of their behavior on others. Children are invited to be part of the creative and reflective process. They are not only passive spectators, but also the main actors in a stunning drama performance. The results of the community service show that drama performances can raise awareness of empathy and mutual respect in early childhood. They become more sensitive to the feelings of others and appreciate diversity more. This service proves that drama can be an effective catalyst in forming positive children's characters. Thus, this community service can be an inspiration for other educational institutions to use drama as a means of forming children's characters. The results of this service are expected to contribute to improving the quality of early childhood education at RA Perwanida Sukoharjo and other educational institutions.
