Peningkatan Religiusitas Masyarakat Desa Sukojember Melalui Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata
Abstract
Kuliah Kerja Nyata Program in Sukojember Village, Jelbuk District, Jember Regency, was conducted to enhance the community's religiosity through various religion-based programs. This article aims to document the implementation of the programs, identify challenges, and explore the wisdom and lessons gained from the activities within the context of Islamic values. The programs implemented include Al-Qur'an Education Center (TPQ) development, Qur'an and Iqra distribution, mosque rehabilitation, mosque cleaning, providing incentives to Islamic school teachers, and distributing prayer equipment. The implementation used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, focusing on leveraging the community's local potential. Each program was designed with active community participation, fostering a sense of ownership toward the outcomes. Key challenges included limited physical resources, communication barriers, and a lack of community awareness regarding the importance of maintaining mosque cleanliness. Adaptive solutions were applied through intensive collaboration between students and the community. The results demonstrate significant impacts on enhancing community religiosity, strengthening solidarity, and raising awareness of Islamic values, such as mutual cooperation, cleanliness, and sincerity. The primary lessons learned emphasize the importance of collaboration, patience, and empathy in every service activity. This article contributes to the development of sustainable religion-based community service models aligned with Islamic principles.
