Abstract

This community service aims to increase awareness of early childhood about the importance of nutritious food through the drama performance "Joy of Fruits and Vegetables" using community service activity preparation, community service activity survey, implementation of drama performance activities, and activity evaluation. The analysis stage is carried out to determine the needs and characteristics of early childhood in Tarubasan 2 Kindergarten, so that a program can be designed that suits their needs. The planning stage is carried out to design an interesting and educational drama performance. The recitation stage is carried out to monitor and evaluate the results of the community service, so that the effectiveness of the program in increasing children's awareness of nutritious food can be known. The results of the community service show that drama performances can increase awareness of early childhood about the importance of nutritious food and develop positive behavior in choosing food. Children become more interested in consuming fruits and vegetables after participating in this community service. This community service can be an example for other educational institutions in increasing awareness of early childhood about nutritious food through drama arts using the effective APR method. The existence of this community service can contribute to improving the health and quality of life of early childhood in Tarubasan 2 Kindergarten and its surroundings.
